Designer Miranda Watkins creates innovative, contemporary designs for interiors, from domestic tabletop products to large-scale structures for public spaces. Her minimalist designs are produced in a range of high-grade materials including : metal, plastic, wood and glass.

The complete collection comprises : mobiles, light installations, wall panels, furniture, tabletop products and jewellery. All interior pieces are made to commission and are frequently adapted to create unique site-specific designs.

Miranda collaborates with interior designers and architectural practices around the world on site-specific projects for both private and corporate clients. She also works as a design consultant to retailers and manufacturers on a variety of projects.

Miranda Watkins Design is based on the banks of the River Thames in central London. The showroom has a permanent display of Miranda’s work, where she is available by appointment for consultation.

All designs are made in Great Britain.

Miranda Watkins brief biography
Miranda Watkins has an MA from The Royal College of Art, London. She was originally trained in metalwork and jewellery and has a comprehensive knowledge of metals and metalwork techniques. She worked extensively in the international film industry creating costume props and special effects costumes for many high profile projects, before winning a Sainsbury’s scholarship and setting up her own studio and showroom at London’s OXO Tower in 1998. Following a series of successful collections, she was appointed as ‘Metals Designer’ for Calvin Klein, New York in 2000. In 2002 Miranda returned to London to focus on her own projects, while continuing as a senior design consultant to Calvin Klein until May 2006. Miranda has exhibited her work in New York and London (including an exclusive exhibition at Harrods of Knightsbridge).

Miranda collaborates with interior designers and architectural practices around the world, on site-specific projects for both private and corporate clients. She also works as a design consultant to retailers and manufacturers on a variety of projects including lighting, tabletop products and jewellery. She has created large scale artworks and design installations for clients in Japan, Canada, USA, Australia, Dubai and Europe.
